The sun was at the edge of the sky, which was lit up with many colors. Purple frignined aroung the gold ball, and it faded to pink at the end. After the pink, a vibrant orange filled the sky. There really was nothing like the sunsets in September.
Narcissa was walking down the the common room, and took a look out the window before she plunged into the dungeons. Walking carefully in the darkend hallway, she turned and muttered the password before entering.
Cissy stalked forward to sink into the large, green armchair by the fire and took a deep breath. She reached into her school bag and pulled out her herbology essay. Just because it wasn't due for another couple days didn't mean she couldn't finnish it now. And it certainly did not make her a snobby ravenclaw.

Aquila calmly walked into the Slytherin Common Room. Her expression was fairly picturesque, as though she had not a care in the world. Inside though, she was in a fit of rage. How dare that stupid mudblood talk to her like that? She obviously didn’t understand how things worked around here in the food chain. She was on the bottom and people like Aquila were on the top. And if they weren’t now, well they soon would be with the Dark Lord planning what he was. Oh yes, Arabella whatever her name was might want to watch out. She wouldn’t want to return home from school and find her precious muggle mommy and daddy dead.
With a low growl, she flopped down sides ways in a plushy chair, her torso leaned against one side and her legs crossed and hanging out over the armrest on the otherside. Her bronze eyes scanned the room falling on Narcissa’s silver hair. The two were related through her Great-Aunts marriage into the Black family so she had met her distant cousin a few times. However, Narcissa was younger than her so she had preferred to socialize with Bellatrix in the family gatherings but out of politeness, she called out to her.
“Good evening, Narcissa,” she said with actual genuine friendliness. Aquila was not the sweetest around person around. But she did make sure her own were well-taken care of.

Narcissa was invovled in her esssay. Yes, it was true: she hated classes. But to her, herbology was more than a class. It was her passion. Sure, it was a a silly one, but plants-manly dangerous ones-never seem to amaze her. This essay was about a rather boring plant but she didn't care. It was a plant.
She was so absorbed that she didn't hear Aquila apporach. She huffed over, and dropped into the chair. Narcissa dropped her light pink quill, smoothed her hair and looked at her distant realtive. She was realted to many other pureblood families-her pedigree was most impressive- and Aquila was often at Black gatherings, though she was not a black herself. She hung around with Bella most times, while Cissy spent her time avioding that dumb boy chasing after her.
She smiled at Aquila. "Hello Aquila." She said, and put the essay on the ground, safe from the ashes before grinning widely and adding, " You seemed peeved. What's wrong?" She said, and added maliously, "I'd love to help you fix it."

Aquila sneered as she recollected the afternoon, playing it over and over again. She looked at Narcissa with slight indifference, annoyed. Not with the other Slytherin girl of course but with what had happened in the Divination class.
"A few Hufflepuff idiots don't seem to know their place in the pecking order around here."
She growled a little under her breath before tossing her front dark tresses. "God, I hate mudbloods. And have you ever noticed how most of them always seem to end up in that forsaken house? There is a reason no one pays attention to Hufflepuffs. They are all complete gits."
