"Aquila." He sighed, massaging his temples gently. No one ever got him as worked up as she did, and he could feel a headache coming on. "Can't it be anyone but her?" He was tired of pleading with her, but this was one subject he would not budge on. He did not want Aquila associating with that crazy girl.
((sorry, I'm having a brain lapse. DX))

Aquila didn’t look at him but stubbornly kept her gaze straight forward. The line that was her mouth got that much tighter. She heard him say her name but ignored him. It was true; she was acting a little childish. But she didn’t care. She probably would later but at the moment, all that mattered to her was keeping Phoenix isolated from her. “Not talking to you,” she snapped.

Phoenix rolled his eyes and shook his head. "You're acting like a spoiled brat." He said quietly, so only she could hear. He hated when she acted like this, being completely irrational instead of talking things out. That had always been the difference between them- she was impulsive, and he figured out every angle of every little thing before acting.
"Let me know when you're speaking to me again."

Aquila did not immediately respond, showing no signs of reaction or emotion. She faced straight ahead in her seat and copied down notes, not even looking down at her parchment. She did her work mechanically like a robot. Till finally she set her quill down and turned. “I am not being a spoiled brat,” she said calmly and quietly before turning back in her seat.

Phoenix couldn't help but smile, looking up at her through his lashes as he scribbled down his own detailed notes. "Yes, you are. Does this mean you're talking to me again?" He asked, putting his own quill down and staring at the back of his sister's head.

She wanted to slap that smile off his face but controlled herself, having to remind herself that she did actually like this person. He was her brother and she loved him, even if he was a pain in the butt. "Yes I am because I need your stupid arithmency notes." Shockingly, she didn't spit out the words. Each syllable came out without emphasis.
