Severus sighed. "I'm still not going to accept. I really have no need for any of those. I'd rather achieve them myself, thank you." He leaned back on the couch further, closing his eyes. "Is that all you called me down here for? To badger me with further offers?" He looked up at the ceiling, bored.

Twila looked unruffled, and she placed her elbows on the back of the couch, resting her chin on her hands. As she moved, her long ponytail fell over her shoulder and brushed him slightly. "Apparently you can't... or do you not really want Lily Evans?" She smirked, her expression completely innocent.
"When I say anything, Severus, I do mean anything. I don't think you understand just how badly I want your help."

When Twilla spoke Lily's name, Severus tensed up a bit. It wasn't too noticeable, but sure she would notice it. Use it against him. "I don't think I want to know what you mean. Just leave Lily alone; what has she ever done to you?" He raised an eyebrow and looked straight at Twilla, forcing himself to relax, bit by bit. Severus had a very bad feeling, like he was being controlled by an adolescent girl who would think it quite funny if something very awkward and horrible were to happen to Lily.

Twila shrugged, but her eyes lit up when she realized just how much Lily meant to him. She hadn't realized it was more than a crush, but now she knew- it was much more than that. "Evans has never done anything to me. In fact, I think she's a rather pretty girl. However, I have the means of giving you what you want, in return for something I want."
She got up and went around the couch, leaning next to his ear so only he heard the words dripping from her mouth like the poisons she loved so much. "I can give you Evans, Severus. All I want is a little of your time in return. It must be horrible, watching her with other guys... Being touched by them, laughing with them, kissing them... I can give you that."

Severus was getting just a bit pissed. The was this woman spoke, her words dripping into his ear, it creeped him out, a fairly difficult task. There were many pros and cons to her proposition. Accept it, get Lily like he always wanted, and work for her, something he wasn't prone to do. On another note, even if he rejected it, she would probably still do it just to torture him and possibly make him bend. So, my options are to have her do whatever to Lily... which will probably cause her to hate me should she ever find out... or to continue watching Lily from afar, being just friends and staying independent. Bugger. Severus sat up and started to rub his temples, sighing. "I... Really don't think it'd be wise, for I'm sure whatever you're thinking of isn't along the lines of old-fashioned courting and the like." This wasn't to say Severus was old-fashioned, he just had certain opinions about issues like this.

Twila laughed, her violet eyes glittering with an almost mischevious light. She could tell she unnerved the young Slytherin, which amused her. Twila found it almost adorable, in a sick way- he certainly wasn't an idiot. She had so little regard for other people that killing them didn't really bother her, though she never had. Not yet, anyway. Not directly. The way her poisons were quickly snatched up, though, she had probably already been responsible for many, many deaths, but what she didn't know couldn't make her pause.
"Indeed it does not, Severus. However, she would still be irrevocably yours. For whatever purpose..." She glanced up at the clock on the wall before straightening and smoothing out her clothes. "Think it over. I'm sure you will come to see things my way."
