"Well..that's a lot of different reactions." Scarcely able to understand most basic emotions and reactions and people, much less when it came to disbelief over magical abilities, Madison was a bit at a loss for what to say. As it would be rude to simply ignore the brunt of what was said, she tried to address a couple of the points.
"I guess your idea of starting with your uncle will be best. Open-mindedness about things will take you a long way. If it goes bad, at least you have Jesse, though."

Violet shrugged and looked over at her new friend. "Thanks, for listening. Not many people would do that." she smiled. Violet was truly grateful to have met Madison. She agreed that she would make a very good friend.

"No problem, though it never hurts to listen. God knows I need someone for that sometimes." Pointedly not saying anything further than that - as it would be delving into uncomfortable territory and nothing that was warranted yet - she resumed looking up at the stars, now trying not to think of Astronomy homework waiting to be done.
"May not be the best at helping with most things, but if you need an ear again..feel free to hunt me down." Nearly laughing at how that sounded actually being said aloud, she contented herself with a smirk.

"I most definitely will." Violet grinned. She sighed and looked at the stars. "We have to hang out more." she remarked.

"Yeah, we do." Madison agreed, tone a bit quiet and thoughtful, even. "Well, outside of Quidditch practice for the upcoming game, I don't have much lined up any time soon. I'm sure we can figure some kind of opportunity out."

Violet nodded. "Okay, I'll be sure to watch your games." smiled Violet putting her hands on her hips.

"Hopefully you won't have to watch me get the living crap beaten out of me." Already well aware of what a target the Seekers were - on both sides - in any particular Quidditch game, she also hoped Devon and the team's other Beater were up to the task of controlling the bludgers. "Though I do like to do things outside of the pitch. Plenty of other stuff to do around here, even if it's just a walk around the grounds and lake."

"Ah, well if it's any consolation, I am pretty positive you won't get the crap beaten out of you." smiled Violet Violet hadn't known her very long but she could tell that she would do fine at all the games.

"I certainly appreciate the vote of confidence, but I really hope our team's defense is up to par to prevent bludger mania." Hardly wondering why she was talking about the game, she also realized that this was someone of an opposing House - not at the present, granted, but there would be an eventual Hufflepuff/Gryffindor game.
"Oh, and when the time comes around for our Houses to play, I trust you'll be supporting your own team. House loyalty and whatnot, and I won't blame you."
